The last several years I have been a part of the Global Digital Marketing team at Starbucks Coffee Company. Prior to that I worked with Windows Live, MSN and various local design companies.
I have a strong affection for minimalism, typography, grids, restraint, deadlines and good user experience. Though most of all I love problem solving; conceptually, visually and technically. Finding new ways to communicate through design. My goals are to continue to learn and growing in the field of graphic design, work on creative and challenging projects and fully enjoy the process of visual communication.
When not working on design projects I can usually be found training for some sort of athletic event be it a triathlon, track racing at the velodrome, a marathon, or just spending long hours on my bike with friends. I find that exercise is a good outlet for the stresses of work. Ironically I also find the inverse true as well, that work serves as a good distraction from the stresses of training.

Experience
Mr. Crampy’s Multisport
I am a co-owner of a training and retail multisport company with my husband, Kyle Watson. We opened in May 2010 with as much money as we could scrape together from our savings and have slowly reinvested and built a community of people who enjoy to swim, bike, run, and have fun. It has been a lot of work but is a labour of love. I have done everything from book keeping to designing the identity, signage, website, and the interior.
